Queen of Home Workouts

OK, here is the thing…. For someone who loves working out I need to admit this. 90% of everything of what I do is at home. It’s not that I hate the gym or something like that, but I don’t have the time. Unfortunately, none of the gyms around here offer childcare and it’s too much for me to ask someone to babysit every single time I want to workout. Plus, it’s too cold now and I don’t really wanna leave the flat.
The internet is loaded with free workouts, sometimes even a whole program. Or just buy the DVDs, on eBay or Amazon, you can get cheap used ones if you don’t want to splurge.
My favorite go-to is Cassey Ho’s Blogilates channel, POPSUGAR fitness and many other individual fitness gurus on YouTube. They are all free.
With Blogilates you get POP Pilates. It’s a fun upgraded pilates with good music, minimum equipment, mostly body weight but you definitely feel the burn. You need to sign up to access the monthly calendar. Everyday of the week you work a specific part of the body, lower, core, upper, etc… No need for you to plan anything, just bring your commitment to the party and you are good to go. The whole workout is less than an hour everyday and you get one rest day a week.
POPSUGAR Fitness offers a whole variety of workouts from beginners, pregnancy, pilates, HIIT, dance, etc.. You even get the pleasure of workouts led by expert and celebrity trainers. There are hundreds of videos to choose from, individual or program challenges.
All you really need is to be motivated to commit to working out at home. Ask yourself WHY?
Do you need to lose, maintain or gain weight? Build muscle? Tone up? Increase flexibility? Lead a healthier lifestyle?
It’s not only about the physical aspects.
Do you want to beat depression? Boost your mood?
Finding your WHY will go a long way to help you to stick to it.
If you’re starting out, aim for goals that are realistic.
• Plan to workout at least 3 times a week then go up to 4 or 5, depending on your needs and ability.
• Start small. Look for beginner workouts to and work your way up to advanced.
• Especially for those aiming to losing weight, be realistic about how much you will lose per week/month.
To your success, ciao!

Finally i will be motivated to work out at home….i have been making a lot of excuses about working out….Love it
I’m gonna be on your back from now on 🙂
