The Story So Far…. #2020
Wow, 2020! The year that has been the hardest for humanity in recent history, GLOBALLY! You know it. I know it, and probably sick of hearing about it. Most likely, you have experienced at least one of the dreadful issues that became the “new normal”.
With such a tumultuous year, your physical, financial, and mental health has likely been impacted.
Whether 2021 brings another stormy wave of disruptions or not, we all need to find our own unique ways of hitting it big through the seasons. Whatever works for you, remember the goal is not to merely survive but to thrive.
In this post, I will share with you the golden nuggets to help you live an optimum life for whatever the future may bring for us.
- Your Health, Your Priority – Your health goes way beyond the physical body. Connect with people either virtually or face-to-face, and take time out of your day to do things that you love. Do your best to have a regular workout routine.
- Check Your Spending Habits – Spending the best part of the year in lockdown has really been kind to a lot of our purses. Take the time to evaluate your spending habits, and spend more time finding ways to improve your financial literacy on savings, investments, and creating multiple sources of income.
- Keep Learning – Whether it’s a new skill for your career, personal growth, or simple DIY projects at home. Keeping busy by learning something new and staying productive is a huge benefit for your mental health. You might be able to earn money from it as a new side hustle.
- Be Wise On The Internet – Now more than ever, scrolling through the internet is higher than ever. It could be the news or social media, remember that any negativity we come across can completely overwhelm us. Limit your time and avoid sites that may trigger you.
- Reach Out – We are all in this together. Check-in on your friends and family. Reach out if you’re having a hard time. Give a helping hand where you can support local businesses and charities. Together we thrive.
As we come to the end of the year, join me in the #grandfinale2020 to finish off 2020 with a fun challenge. Get your calendar here.
